Hi Michelle, yes it can be nerve-racking for any kind of surgery, so this is normal feelings. Dear Vanessa;<BR/>I go for Lap Band surgery this February. I am a little nervous but know I need to do it. I had a hysterectomy last year and the hormones they have me on are horrendous. I am 42 and weigh 235. My BMI is 34-35. I have a family history of Diabetes, Heart Disease and I smoke. I am hoping to be free of all or most of it by July of this year.
